Any Stories of College Rescinding Acceptance Due to Poor Senior HS Grades?
I am a freelance writer, and I am doing research on an article about HS “Senioritis.” I have heard that in some instances a student with good grades who has already been accepted to a college will have the acceptance rescinded when he/she starts to goof off in the senior year of high school. didn’t happen to me. but it happened to a very very close friend of mine.
she was accepted to UC Santa Cruz with a undeclared major.
she got all Bs and was very excited to go.
Then she got a letter early August saying that she was rescinded. She called to confirm why she was rescinded and told them that her grades were all above Ds. they acknowledged it yet they said that they rejected her becuase they didn’t think she was good enough. so now shes going to a local community school.
