What tutor certification program is best?
I am starting my own tutoring business and would like to add to my credentials; however, there are multiple tutoring associations and I can’t discern which is best!
I would like tutor certification, courses to sharpen my academic coaching skills, networking opportunities and marketing/business advice.
Please help!!
Since you are just beginning there are many things to look at.
First obtain a copy of the tutoring regulations for your state and follow them to the letter.
It is important that you have only certified teachers who are knowledgeable in their fields./
Make certain that you have excellent communication with both the parent and the school. Be prompt and keep all appointments. Only tutor a child with the parent or another responsible adult present. Keep accurate records of attendance and work done.
