Do you enjoy those annoying popup windows? They may not like it either. Optimize the experience of your visitors by thinking about what they would enjoy. You have to keep two specific things in mind – your sales and the experience of thos that come to your site. You should think of both to get better sales with the same amount of traffic.
Secret four is relationships. The right business relationships will give you the opportunity to get tons of extra visitors. I get a lot of joint venture requests every day. The ones I pay attention to are from people that I know and like. Imagine for a moment what would happen if you could simply pick up the phone and tell a friend that you need their help with something. Wouldn’t that work better than sending a spammy email to someone you don’t know?
You should also be building relationships with your customers. The better they know and like you, the more likely they’ll by what you sell. Do a show on Ustream, respond to comments on your blog posts, and deliver content they can devour and enjoy.
The last secret is to find communities in your niche. Thousands of your prospects are hanging out somewhere on the web. Find them and join. Help people and answer any questions they may have and they will begin searching for you in droves. The more people you help, the faster your reputation will grow. Before long, you’ll have a happy audience by being part of the community and helping others.
